Kapil Bhimekar is a Senior Creative Director at Leo Burnett Dubai, with a career spanning over two decades. Originally starting his journey in Mumbai, Kapil moved to Dubai in 2008, where he has since become a key figure in the region's creative industry. His work has garnered international acclaim, earning prestigious awards such as D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show, Andy Awards, Dubai Lynx, LIA, and Loeries, among others.
Kapil's expertise is not just recognized through his accolades; he has also served as a judge at renowned award shows like D&AD, Cannes Lions, Mad Stars. Etc. sharing his insights and elevating the global creative community. Throughout his career, he has worked on iconic global brands like McDonald's, Ferrero, VISA, Bloomingdales’ along with the others, bringing a unique blend of creativity and strategic approach to each project.
Beyond his role in advertising, Kapil is an artist creating work in his distinctive black and white style. His passion for art extends into large-scale experiential installations that have captivated audiences across the UAE. He also dedicates time to hosting art workshops around the world and runs his brand, K100, which embodies his creative vision.
In 2021, Kapil's contributions were further recognized when he was awarded the prestigious Golden Visa by the UAE government, solidifying his influence and legacy in the creative arts. Despite his numerous achievements, Kapil remains committed to pushing creative boundaries while inspiring others along the way.
